Compare a complete bin’s outside dimensions with a clear opening and a clear interior. Keep the same orientation through both.

This is a straight-in, axis-aligned geometry check—not a weight, mounting, restraint or driving-readiness assessment. It assumes a clear aligned passage and cavity. No diagonal insertion, flexible materials or hidden obstacles are modeled.

Changing units does not convert the numbers. Re-enter all measurements in the chosen unit. Defaults are fictional, not product specifications.

Five comparisons for each orientation

Opening width minus bin width, opening height minus bin height, interior width minus bin width, interior depth minus bin depth, and interior height minus bin height must each meet the entered total spare. The same oriented bin is used in every comparison.

Upright mode keeps original H vertical and checks two horizontal rotations. Tipped mode considers all six axis permutations, removing duplicate shapes. It does not rotate the object inside the cavity or search a diagonal insertion path.
